Hara Dhania Cholia
Ingredients:
1½ cups fresh green chickpeas (hara cholia), shelled
2 tbsp oil
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 onion, finely chopped
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
2 green chilies, chopped
½ tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp coriander powder
½ tsp red chili powder
Salt to taste
2 tbsp chopped fresh coriander
½ cup water
Instructions:
Boil green chickpeas in water until soft and drain.
Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and let them crackle.
Add chopped onion and sauté until golden.
Add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies; cook for 1 minute.
Add turmeric, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
Add boiled chickpeas and water. Cook on low heat for 5–7 minutes.
Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot with roti or paratha.
