Bathua Raita

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fresh bathua leaves, washed

  • 1 cup yogurt (curd)

  • ½ tsp roasted cumin powder

  • ¼ tsp red chili powder

  • Salt to taste

  • 1 green chili, finely chopped (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Boil bathua leaves in water for 3–4 minutes until soft. Drain and cool.

  2. Grind or finely chop the cooked leaves.

  3. Whisk yogurt in a bowl until smooth.

  4. Mix bathua into the yogurt.

  5. Add cumin powder, red chili powder, salt, and green chili. Mix well.
